PRESS RELEASE -- In August 2009, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into the alleged scamming of individuals in Wicomico County for money. Investigation revealed that William Cleatus Stier would approach an unwitting subject and prey on their good nature. Stier would give a sad story about a vehicle being broken down or family members being stranded and would ask for money to alleviate the situation. Upon receiving the money that was given to him to help him out, Stier allegedly purchased drugs with it.

On 8 September 2009 a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Stier, charging him with committing theft and conducting a theft scheme. Also, on 27 August 2009, a bench warrant was issued for Stier for failing to appear in a Motor vehicle theft case. The pre-set bond on the bench warrant is $25,000.00
Stier has a history of being a DRUG USER SELLER
